NEEDLES:

48" or longer circular in size US 7 [4.5 mm]

GAUGE:

16 sts and 34 rows = 4" [10 cm] in garter stitch, after blocking

NOTES:

Shawl is first worked down and out from center of top edge, then a striped panel is worked across, putting stitches to rest as you go--these are used to add edging.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Long-tail and knitted cast ons (link provided), increasing, decreasing, changing colors.
